Even if we are in holiday, we are used to work, our hands are not stopping... I guess this habit is coming from my mother. Whenever I see a new, beatiful thing I try to make the same at home.

In this first work, when I was drinking Turkish Coffee which is cooked in ember in İzmir-Kemeraltı Kızlarağası Han and walking around  after handling this linen ball I imagined that one can make a good hat. The artlessness of this rope was captivated me.

I started to this work as I am knitting a rolled lace with a needle model by a thick knitting needle without knowing how it will hurt my hand. When trying if I can knit it with a thick needle I came to the end, to top of the hat. Till it became as big as a tea saucer, I kept going without adding a new line. Just before end of the work to curl up I added new lines.

Now I am using it in hot summer times in Antalya to refresh and be protected from harmful effects of sunlight. Its cheap and useful thats why I suggest everybody.
